Lindsie and Brian opted for a first look that we shot on the New Haven Green before their ceremony.
The look on his face when he first saw Lindsie was priceless! 
The day was nothing short of perfect, along with 80 degree weather and a magical sunset.

Baby Naomi

   We started Naomi's session in home, she was awake and in awe of her mother. She is such a sweet baby, and her big sister Sienna was right next to her giving out lots of kisses.  No wonder she is always so happy! For the rest of the photos, we travelled to Gillette's Castle in East Haddam. It was a beautiful day on the Connecticut River, so we were able to take advantage of the natural light and Sienna splashed around in the water while everyone caught some rays. Cheers to the addition of this beautiful family!

Travels to Colombia

After months and months of debate, my cousin and I decided we needed to visit South America since neither one of us had ever been.  We heard from multiple friends and colleagues that Cartagena, Colombia was a must visit destination. So finally, in May, we booked our flights for June to fly into Cartagena. After a five hour flight from New York on Jet Blue, we arrived in this beautiful, charming city.  The town inside the walls of the old city are filled with bright colors and happy people. Cartagena is one of the most vibrant cities I have ever seen. The Getsemani district inside the old city walls, is filled with awesome graffiti. Hotels, restaurants, and bars are blooming in this area, bringing more and more foreign travelers.   "Much of the graffiti pays tribute to Pedro Romero, a cuban artisan who played a key role in Cartagena's struggle for independence from Spain" (nomadbiba.com). Newborn, baby Logan

Little Logan was so excited to meet his family, he joined us a few weeks early.  He was teeny weeny and super sweet!  We let him run the show, as newborns do.  My favorite part of this little guy was his wrinkles....just adorable. Since dad is a huge Redskins fan, we had some fun props to work with! There is nothing quite like a fathers arms,  once he woke up, this was the only thing to put him right back into a peaceful slumber !

Melissa & Ben's Winter Maternity Session

Introducing...Sienna Grace!  This couple holds a special place in my heart, and I couldn't be more excited for the arrival of baby Sienna, making her way into the world, March 2015! I loved the enthusiasm and creativity Melissa put into her and Ben's outfits and props. She even made this adorable winter headpiece!      Originally we had planned on doing a second photoshoot after a snowfall, but low and behold, it started snowing during this one!   These last two photos we took were my absolute favorite, it was cold and we were packing up,  I couldn't resist the stillness and beauty of this snowy forest. It looked like a painting, it was  incredible to be able to capture it.
